i need a one into two hdmi box so i can route a 1080p picture from one output from ps3 to my plasma and the other hdmi output from ps3 to route hd audio to my amp

(my amp does not pass through 1080p so have to route ps3 straight to tv and amp separately).

would this do the trick? does not do anything i would need?

It looks very similar to the CMI gear that hdcompany sells. Try it and see and if it works/fails let us know how you get on. I will probably be looking for a 4x2 device myself soon.
