HDMI And Scart

Hi I have two Panasonic pieces of kit that support Viera Link, TX32LMD70 (TV) and DMR-EX77EB (HDD/DVD) I want to use the viera link but need to connect them via a HDMI cable. Do I connect the units by Scart AND HDMI or just HDMI. I realise this is probably a stupid question to a lot of you but I am not a 'TV techie' and the manuals don't seem to make it clear if both are needed or just one.

Cheers

John

Re: HDMI And Scart

Viera link is panasonics name for its HDMI control interface , so just HDMI needs to be connected.
