can someone help, I'm after an HDMI cable for our PS3 to Onkyo sr605 Receiver and I was wondering if there is a difference between a standard HDMI and The IXOS PS3 HDMI cable? The IXOS cable states it is specifically for the ps3 where other hdmi cables don't, so would any HDMI cable do the same job as the ixos? It's all getting a bit confusing to say the least.

No, it's just another cable company trying to mislead you. A standard hdmi cable will be fine.
