wireless HDMI

I gather from a reply on another thread that belkin are planning to release a wireless HDMI. Does anyone know if wireless HDMI is already available in some from on the market today?

I have a InFocus IN76 projector at the back of my living room, and all the other stuff at the front, connected with component cables.

Re: wireless HDMI

I suspect this is the Belkin item that the OP was referring to :

Netgear have something on the way as well.

All good news as long as these things work and we can buy them over here.

Re: wireless HDMI

Hello all

There are Four Wireless technologies being adopted by various Hardware Manufacturers to deliver Wireless HDMI - WiFi, UWB, Radiospire and Amimon.

Belkin are amongst a big group of Hardware Manufacturers who are backing Amimion as the best of the bunch in terms of Technical abilities and offering the most practical Installation options.

There is also HDMI over Power Lines (similar in concept to HomePlug) being proposed/demonstrated by other vendors adopting HD-PLC.

PS Gefen now have HDMI over Four and Five core Analogue Multicore cables for Retro fits into RGBHV wired Installations - http://www.gefen.com/kvm/product.jsp?prod_id=5304
