Connecting iMac and SonyKDL26s5500

Hi:

I am buying a new Sony 26 Bravia tv. What is the best way to connect it to my iMac (newish--2007/8, 2 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo running Snow Leopard)?

Mostly I want to view steaming video (such as BBC iPlayer), MP4 files stored on my computer, and DVDs fed through my computer drive.

Which cable/port is best?

Thanks

RB

Re: Connecting iMac and SonyKDL26s5500

Hi:

It is an iMac7,1 with Intel Core 2 Duo

It has quote:

"Mini DisplayPort
Output port with support for DVI, VGA, and dual-link DVI."

Is this the port to connect to my tv?

Thanks
