Re: Best HDMI Cable

I think you'll only find HDMI 1.3b cables available in the shops.

1.4 is too new for manufacturers to be implementing yet.

As for the 'best', it's a digital cable, so spending £100's won't improve picture quality over a reasonable cable. I wouldn't spend over £20 for a 1m cable - this should be you fully shielded, gold connectors and a good quality cable, e.g., (Browse for Products | CPC)

Thanks for that, im going to completely avoid that site from now on.
It does look like a legit site though. I mean it even bares the logo of the AVFORUMS!

Re: Best HDMI Cable

We have them in, we just cannot sell them.

We are hoping to dispatch the cables to customers within the next 3 weeks - just as soon as our certificate has been issued.

We have a policy of not selling any un-certified cables, it would go against the official HDMI adopter license agreement.

Hello HDMIHead

So you are currently selling the cablesson 1.4 hdmi cable without full certification but your product is first in line for certification? So if I bought it and 2 weeks or so down the line you get your certificate can I claim my cable I bought previously is fully certified?

Is it the exact same product which is awaiting certification?

What if I buy it and you don't get the certification and as a result have to make changes to your product?

Re: Best HDMI Cable

HI j1988

I would check if UKHDMI or Cablesson are listed on the HDMI.org adopter list:

HDMI :: Resources :: Adopters & Founders

If they are not listed, they will not be able to get certification issued to them.
