Unhappy HDCable.co.uk Infinius 4x2 splitter / switcher problems!!!!

HI All,

Ok i bought one of the above to ass to my set up to enable me NOT to run the gauntlet of swapping cables around when i wanted to watch a film through the projector.

I have an iMac in my set up which is the main source for films, but also a PS3 and a HDDVD player and Sky HD.

It is set up like this....

iMac/PS3/HDDVD/SkyHD => Switch => Output 1 to Onkyo 605 then 605 to plasma. Out put 2 goes direct to the projector. (the reason the switch goes before the amp is i use HDMI for sound from PS3 and HDDVD)

Everything works great, no loss in sound or picture. all accept the iMac.

When iMac is selected the mac looks like it finds a new display but it wont show up on the plasma!!!!! Whats going on?? I hope some one can help me because this switch wasnt cheap (for me) and it states on the website that can be used with HDMI PC/laptops. Plus i have never had a problem before when it was plugged into the onkyo 605!!

Thanks in advance

Scott
