Hello Mickey123
HDMI is different to analogue video - with HDMI you either get the whole image, no image, an intermittent image, a green screen or an image with very obvious problems (sparkles).
As you go approach 10m your relying on the installed cable not causing enough of a voltage drop to cause any of the potential problems outlined above.
Lots of folk will tell you they get perfect sound and vision with relatively inexpensive cables - others not; its the combination of Source, Cable, video Signal format and Sync device (Display) that determines what will work and what wont.
Ensure you give any cable you purchase a good test in your set-up at all required resolutions before you 'install' the cable - a cable that works perfectly at 1080i50 (SKY HD) may 'fall apart' at 1080p60 (Blu-ray).
Media Factory - Bettercables HIgh Speed CAT2 HDMI cables, 1m to 12m.
