HDMI Scart

I have a new HD TV The home cinema system does not have an HDMI out. I can connect by Scart fine, but as the Scart is powered everytinme I swithch on the tV and sky (conencted by HDMI) then switch on the home cinema to get sound it kicks over to the scart av signal. Can you get a scart that is not 'powered' or a cable that is Scart to HDMI to stop this annoying thing happening

Thanks

Re: HDMI Scart

If you are happy to open the scart connecter then snipping the wire to pin 8 will do the job.
