Buying a new HDMI

I just got a new Sony Bravia KDL40W5500 and would like to connect it to my laptop which supports Full HD as well as PS3. I read the forums and its just got me confused, I am not sure what to buy, I saw this 2m High Speed PLATINUM HDMI Cable: Amazon.co.uk: Electronics & Photo and was also looking at thatcable (has been rated 5* by What HI FI) however it is a fiver but I am not sure if it is any good after all the reading. Kindly advise

It doesnt do that because there is no point , below 10 meters length all working cables do exactly the same job , there is no picture or sound improvements to be had by spending extra on HDMI cables.

Argos and tescos have cables for less than a tenner and they do the job as well as any hyped up and frankly " lied " about premium cables.

That blurb in what hi fi is the most ridiculous tripe .... it has absolutely no basis in fact whatsoever.
