Help, advice needed.

hi there,
i have 2 hdmi sockets and one is used for my onkyo 606 and the other i want to used for playstation 3 and xbox 360. i was wondering, to save taking out hdmi each time so i want play either console could i use one of these 15cm GOLD HDMI 2 port way SPLITTER 1080p 1.3b 1 in 2out on eBay (end time 15-Nov-09 16:45:49 GMT) and have both connect to this. would there be any downsides to this method ie picture etc?
i would appreciate your help on this subject before i make this purchase

Is there any reason you don't/can't simply plug them into your Onkyo?

i have 2 blu ray players(region a and b), hd dvd player and also sky hd taking up all 4 sockets but also i'll be using turtle beach headsets for both ps3 and xbox so no need to go through receiver.

You are looking for a switch, not a splitter.
