Sparkles through HDMI on PS3

Ive started to get sparkles when playing a Blu-Ray on my lcd. I assume its because I have now included my amp and an extra 2 mtrs of cable into the mix?
A straight run to my tv has no problems at all.
Am I right in that I need an HDMI repeater?

A repeater or a better quality cable should do the job.

The two-way HDMI splitter in your range doesnt do the same job to the signal does it?

Yes they do.

The infinius unit has a particularly good chipset.

Oh right, because im using one at the moment.
Because my 5m HDMI cable wont reach my amp, I have the splitter connected to another 2m HDMI which comes from my amp. My ps3 and SKY hd are connected to the amps inputs. thats 7m of hdmi and the amps internal wiring to get from my ps3 to tv. Does this seem ok to you?

You mean the 5m cable and the 2m cable? Its connected with this...

Yes it should be fine, so long as all the HDMI cables are of a good quality.

Have you contacted our customer service department about this issue?

From your description you are not entirely clear.

What is the length of the cable going from the output of the amp into the splitter?

What are the cable lengths coming off the outputs of the splitter?

I have a two meter cable from my ps3 to the amp. From the amp theres another two meter cable that goes into the splitter. From the splitter theres a 5m cable that goes to my tv. I was wrong before, its 9m from ps3 to tv not 7.

Ive just purchased the HDMI repeater from your store so ill try that when I get it.

The cables im using were all around £10. The 5m is this one...

) thanks but im not having to try it at the mo because the problem has gone away. Im getting a perfect picture.
