Lie To Me anyone? Thursday 14th 10pm
Without anyone being sarcastic..................
Any views of this by anyone? As Heroes & Shameless ending the series this week, need a little HD something to top up Lost, Fringe, 24, PB etc that is wench friendly!
Read a few reviews and seems ok?
Anyone know what this is? Class? Anyone? Anyone? Anyone seen this before? Sorry slipped into Ferris Bueller's Day Off!!!

Re: Lie To Me anyone? Thursday 14th 10pm
As soon as I heard SKY1HD were going to show it I stopped downloading it and deleted the couple of eps I had, needed to pace some shows out over the summer and this not being a scifi/fantasy genre got the nomination
The trailers look ok and reviews have been generally positive and after Skellig I have a sightly higher appreciation or Tim Roth after a rather uninspiring last decade in the tv/movie world.

In my planner. It gets decent reviews on tv.com. Most of my favourite shows are coming to an end so I'll give it a shot.

Watched this last night with my wife - both of us thought it was really good. She's already started to analyse my facial expressions

Re: Lie To Me anyone? Thursday 14th 10pm
I was not expecting much from the specs of this series but it was actually very interesting.
A sort of cross between Numb3rs and House and impressive acting and a touch of humour.
Also good to see them allow Tim Roth to speak normally without adopting some attempt at a US accent. So he can focus on the character and acting and not on saying special-ty instead of speci-ality or whatever.
The series has been renewed so at least that means it is not going to get axed just as it gets good.
And episode 2 is on Anytime if you have Sky HD so you can watch before Thursday...although you can only copy it to your planner if you still have the old EPG. The new EPG only lets you watch it FROM Anytime either due to yet another bug in the stacking software or a decision by Sky to prevent you via the new EPG from keeping ad free/logo free versions from Anytime beyond 7 days.

I said exactly the same thing to my girlfriend. Shame the other cast members don't seem to have the charisma that Roth has. I shall stick with it though.

Re: Lie To Me anyone? Thursday 14th 10pm
Not bowled over by this. Tim Roth may be fine and his partner, but the rest of the cast I am not bothered about at all.
I like the premise, but compared to something like The Mentalist, it just seemed a bit slow for my liking. I'll persevere though and see how it develops.

Re: Lie To Me anyone? Thursday 14th 10pm
I just finished watching the first episode on Anytime, and thought it was great! I wasn't expecting much, but love Tim Roth as an actor and was pleasantly surprised. I'm also glad they didn't get him to use an american accent too. Looks like iw ill be watching the 2nd episode tomorrow on Anytime and will also add this to the series link.

Re: Lie To Me anyone? Thursday 14th 10pm
I got into the first ep very quickly, not sure how well it will maintain my interest, the character development will have to be good because seeing clips and freeze frames of peoples expressions could get old very quick.

Re: Lie To Me anyone? Thursday 14th 10pm
I enjoyed the first episode and will keep watching.
There's an interview with Tim Roth here, where he mentions why he didn't put on an accent for the part:
Fox Fix: Lie To Me, Tim Roth
