Edward Scissorhands and Galaxy Quest

Two excellent films currently showing on Sky HD.I'm recording both and looking forward to viewing them .......yet again.Of the two, I would possibly prefer the latter, especially if you're in need of cheering up. If you want to go to bed light-hearted,then Galaxy Quest is the one to watch.I thought the young trekkie nerds were great. Their enthusiasm is infectious

Re: Edward Scissorhands and Galaxy Quest

Galaxy Quest is a great fun movie, yes if you are a scifi fan you might get more out of it but it proved with it's taking the general audience liked the movie as well.

You forgot Masters of the Universe on today

Was Galaxy Quest a success at the box office? I never heard of it until my son insisted I watch it with him on dvd a no.of years ago.I immediately loved it. I know nothing about Masters of the Universe. I've seen the title in the past but I was'n't even curious enough to look it up on IMDB.I automatically assumed that it was strictly for the kids.

Re: Edward Scissorhands and Galaxy Quest

According to IMDB it had a budget of $45mill and generated $76mill US alone so it did more than ok

Dolph Lundgren as HE MAN, live action movie of an animated kids show, truly an experience

Re: Edward Scissorhands and Galaxy Quest

I saw Masters of the Universe at the cinema as a kid and have it saved on my sky hd box. Classic cheese!
