Battle of Britain 4HD now

just put it on looks superb! Didn't know Al Swearengen/Lovejoy/McShane was in it. Its close to 40 years old and I am quite shocked by the pic quality. Not sure if this is the same broadcast as Aug 08 Battle Of Britain C4 saturday

Re: Battle of Britain 4HD now

Just finished watching it. Was so suprised when I saw the 4HD logo

Looked amazing. It can't have looked that good even in the cinema.

Does 4HD actually broadcast true HD? As far as I know its simply upscalded. Though I still would have liked to see Battle of Britain.

Yes they do.
Like SKY1HD it's a simulcast so only a percentage of content is native HD, the HD tag will be in the EPG and they also use a HD DOG.

The Three minute Wonder on now is in HD and tomorrow Shameless, Big Bang Theory and My Name is Earl are all native HD.
