Anyone catch Chinatown in HD last night ?

Recorded off CH4 HD last night and just had a quick look at it this morning before I had to go to work but looked pretty good.

Re: Anyone catch Chinatown in HD last night ?

I don't have HD TV but Chinatown is one of my favourite movies and I can't wait for it to arrive on Blu-ray. Paramount announced it as coming this year on Blu, but no further news yet.

Good to hear the Hi-Def transfer (at least on TV) looks good. It should look great on Blu and it's an instant buy for me when it finally appears.

Re: Anyone catch Chinatown in HD last night ?

Yes - recorded it - watched it for the umpteenth time - but this time it looked great on the PJ - an absolutely superb, supreme, fabulous film - plot, music, dialogue, acting, locations, costumes - would have won many more Oscars but it had the misfortune to be in competition with Godfather II.
Must....have....bluray
