I have been watching this current series on Wednesdays at 2000hrs in HD then tonight I noticed it was not being broadcast in HD. Horror of Horrors what are CH4 playing at?

Isn't it because tonight's episode was a re-hash from the last series so prob wasn't filmed in HD.

I'm more annoyed by Grand Designs - a programme crying out for HD treatment.

C4HD has some way to go to match BBC's output.

+1 I'm also really shocked that the new series of GD isn't HD.

Re: Relocation Relocation

I guess GD is not in HD because it is filmed over a long period of time (most of the current projects started in 2006)so that might be why no HD. Still a shame as it would be a great HD programme.

Re: Relocation Relocation

I agree GD needs to be in HD however I know of at least one build featured that had been installed with a network and a multiroom system but the editor chopped the feature in favour of some other stuff. Did anyone see the piano factory in London where all Kevin said about the fellas setup was 'ooohh what a lot of wires'. We were thinking of applying to GD when we built our house but what put us off was that we had taken that long we just wanted the bloody thing up and also they probably wouldn't have wanted to film us as we weren't:

a. Loaded

b. Stockbrokers.

c. Moving from London to the Home Counties or France.

d. Going to get pregnant during filming.

e. Pompus pretentious types with kids called Tiggy and D'arcy and my also head is not inserted up my backside

f. Building some ethically and visually biazarre structure from any old crap we can scrounge (insert haybales, tyres etc here).

We still like the program though!!
