Brand new simpsons episode in HD tonight
The new episode of the simpsons on Sky1 tonight is actually in HD, there is another thread showing the new HD titles but I wasnt aware we were getting the new episodes in HD so quickly.

Love the show but the first time I've seen a new ep on SKY1 for about 3 years

They have new eps on quite a lot, always on sundays, never as good as the oldies though.
I thought this was great in HD, colours and lines were much more vivid, just like the movie. How skinny were lenny and carl though?

Yep but I've been watching the series for years at the US pace, this time I waited for the SKY1 screening of a new episode.
I know many long term fans prefer the earlier seasons but I still find myself laughing at the new stuff, I can only recall once turning the show off and that I think was a music ep last season.

Just read in the sky rag that they are getting a world premier of the St Patricks day episode in HD

Its not a new episode this week - there only going to be doing the new ones in HD - I think they usually show a new one every other week (but I know they keep changing it round all the time as sky are want to do)

The next one after this weekend is on the 22nd which I believe is the St Patricks day exclusive one - looks like they are doing one every two weeks

Just discovered that the exclusive St Patricks Day episode is showing on Tuesday 17th March (I have to assume that the 17th is St Patricks day  as thats not a normal day for a new episode)

well, apart from one or two moments, that was a complete pile of tat.....everything was sooo laboured, even if they were attempting a parody of their own style they wouldnt be able to get it so 'cartoon by numbers'.
