Re: Natures Great Events David Attenborough

I bloody loved this last night and I wasn't even watching it on bbcHD. It looked great on standard def bbc so can only imagine how good it looked in HD. The opening scene with the bears scaling down the mountain must've looked pretty special? Aswell as obviously all the water shots.

Loved the bit at the end aswell, showing how they captured the underwater shots etc. Great stuff

Re: Natures Great Events David Attenborough

I thought this was just a re-hash of footage from other programmes (Planet Earth etc) rather than new material so I hadn't bothered to watch it but noticed it's being repeated on BBC HD tomorrow.

Sounds like it may be worth watching after all.

Re: Natures Great Events David Attenborough

This is basically Planet Earth with a new name but it is fantastic even if your not into nature programs.

I've got Planet Earth on BD and must say congrats to BBC for supplying us with truely amazing pq on both these programs

When the BBC do it right, they do it right, unfortunately it's not often enough

Next weeks looks awesome "The Great Migration"

Re: Natures Great Events David Attenborough

Could have been my recording but I had a lot of artefacts appearing on the scenes where they were using the high speed camera to record the very slow motion sections. Overall it looked amazing but those sections were poor on my screen.

Yup. Noted here (Nature's Great Event - Salmon - PQ problem) and here (http://www.avforums.com/forums/sky-h...events-hd.html).
