Re: King Kong on ITV HD now!

It looks gorgeous!

I've been underwhelmed with ITV HD TV shows like Harley Street, but this is really nice.

I know Newcastle HiFi keep the BluRay of this in the demo room for demonstrating 1080p projectors. When I was there the guy made a point of finding a jungle scene.

I'm not getting 5.1 sound, just Dolby Digital 2.1, what gives with that?

Re: King Kong on ITV HD now!

Yeah it popped up the DD symbol when I switched over, but my processor isn't switching to DD. Still looks amazing, the 'locals' fortress looked especially good!

Cool Re: King Kong on ITV HD now!

I don't remember any bars, but it didn't look stretched - so my guess is they zoomed in.

Re: King Kong on ITV HD now!

So freesat and itvhd.. hmm. probably seen by at least 7 people then ? I have a real beef with tvhd at the moment, please take the time to read and post your thought on the joke that has become bbchd..

BBC HD is not up to the required standard
