I'd love to go HD but what I've heard about the dogs has put me off. Why can't those in charge equate HD with quality. Quality TV does not require unnecessary dogs.

Regards

Re: New BBC HD DOG

Now come on people, there is so much HD being broadcast in the UK the BBC needs the viewers to be able to identify it's output and give thanks in a proper way for their generosity and after a lot of time and money it was found that their previous DOG was just not doing the job hence the new one.*

Re: New BBC HD DOG

There is a thread over in the sky hd forum, with details on how to complain.

Re: New BBC HD DOG

The BBC could have made their HD channel a bit special and different from the rest by having the DOG disappear during evening programmes.

Now it seems the only way to view un-dogged broadcast HDTV is to subscribe to Sky Arts and Movies.

Does no-one at the Beeb see what a ludicrous situation this is?

Cool Re: New BBC HD DOG

Ive not got HD TV but again find it ironic that I would invest a lot of money to get the best picture possible to have the picture ruined by a DOG

Re: New BBC HD DOG

On the Digital Spy thread about this a BBC HD worker seems to have posted that this was a technical error and not a permanent change.

Spot on Garrett. It's so b***** annoying. Why can't they see they're putting off a large number of people who would otherwise invest. People who are interested in quality. I guess we're just too thick to understand.

Cheers
