Re: Batman Begins HD

It's being broadcast as part of Sky's Comic Book Season.

I didn't think Warner would let them broadcast the HD print so soon after the Blu ray release on Monday, might have an impact on the disc's sales?

Sky have shown lots of films in HD that haven't been released on Blu-ray or HD DVD.

Well Warner were one of the last studios to do a deal with SKY for HD masters long after the platform had launched, it was a very annoying time and even then we don't always get OAR.

Re: Batman Begins HD

Yeah I watched it last night and I must say my HD-DVD copy was much better. Still enjoyed it though apart from the ads.... I have been meaning to watch it again before I go and see TDK.

Well upscaled broadcast HD shouldn't really eclipse a retail HD copy on either of the two formats and I have to say if anyone ever doubted HD DVD wasn't upto the job then Batman Begins is one of the demo discs

Re: Batman Begins HD

I watched it the other night and I immediately noticed it was SD
I later compared it to my SD DVD and it was less pixelated on SkyHD.
