Just a quick heads up for all the star Trek Fans. Sky Movies HD 2 is showing the following in HD.
Monday 7th April 11:00 – 13:15 Star Trek the Motion Picture

Monday 7th April 15:15 – 16:56 Star Trek 3 The Search for Spock
Monday 7th April 17:05 – 18:59 Star Trek 4 The Voyage Home
Monday 7th April 19:10 – 21:00 Star Trek 5 The Final Frontier
Tuesday 8th April 12:45 – 14:33 Star Trek 6 The Undiscovered Country
Tuesday 8th April 14:45 – 16:32 Star Trek First Contact
Tuesday 8th April 16:50 – 18:48 Star Trek Generations
Tuesday 8th April 19:00 – 20:38 Star Trek Insurrection
They seem to have got the next generation movies out of order and no sign of Nemesis but still looking forward to blowing out my 1TB drive with this lot.

Would be cool to watch these but I dont have movies now.
The people who made star trek paramount were backing HD - DVD but now thats dead I hope these come out on Blu Ray.

I've seen First Contact & Insurrection when they were on Sky One HD, they both look great, particularly First Contact... the riveting, the riveting!  | |

You didnt miss much.
The prints were a bit scratched and marked (at least on 2,4 and 7- the ones I recorded).
I suspect these HD masters were done quite some time ago when US tv started broadcasting in HD as the quality of the prints was down on what you would today expect on Bluray or HD DVD.
As Film Four are showing Nemesis regularly perhaps Sky cannot get the rights to it at the moment
