Kingdom of Heaven on CH4 HD

Just wondering what people thought of this last night. I didn't watch the whole film cos I have the standard def DVD of the extended cut but I did think that this was the film with the least difference between the SD and HD broadcasts.
Not sure if that was because the SD version was very good or the HD was not that great and of course CH4 messed it up by only broadcasting in stereo again.
It does seem that they've admitted at the moment that they are incapable of broadcasting the 5.1 soundtrack without messing it up with sound drop-outs all the time.

Re: Kingdom of Heaven on CH4 HD

I posted on this in the Sky forum last week.As far as I could see it was not broadcast in HD, only SD as the Hd logo was not present.

Digiguide was showing it should have been Hd but Sky were not flaging it as Hd.I am not sure whether it was ever going to be shown as Hd,I recorded it but when I looked at it it's definatley no better than the sd dvd.
