Exclamation Top Gear Polar Special: Simply Amazing.

Download 1.4GB Top Gear 720p HD - Converted the file, Played it through my 360 and watched on my 507.

Simple Perfection, i would recommend it to anybody.

what format did you convert it with and what software also what was the size of the file thanks i have the standard tv rip of it and it looks good but would love the rip you have

I converted it from X264 MKV file into a MP4 file with a program called GotSent. The output filesize was the same as the original.

And it looked immense on my 50"

Thanks been waiting for a decent converstion tool for the hi-def stuff. Only been watching TV shows recently and they look immense.

amazon have this dated as march 8th for DVD release. Shame they arnt doing a HD/BR release as the quality would be amazing.

I wouldn't.

The actual BBC stream came in at 7.7Gb @ 1080i, and looks gorgeous and doesnt suffer from compression artifacting that the ~1Gb releases suffer from.

So I say watch the broadcast version, or an uncompressed version of it on the pc. :D
