Fantastic 4 on Fantastic Ch4 HD

Anyone catch a glimpse of the Fantastic 4 on Channel 4 HD tonight?
The quality was absolutely A1. In fact, everything I've seen on Channel 4 HD so far has been better than Sky's attempts.

It's strange how free services like Ch4 HD and BBC HD consistently look better than Sky's premium service.

Wouldn't miss seeing Jess in HD for the world !

As you say BBC and CH4 HD have been excellent with their films esp CH4 although I find football/rugby has a better picture on S Sports HD then when shown on BBC HD.

Re: Fantastic 4 on Fantastic Ch4 HD

The picture quality was superb and in 5.1 to boot, can't wait for Gladiator on Sunday.

As earlier commented BBC & C4HD are doing a grand job with the movies, especially considering they are effectively free to view and have not been released on hd-dvd or blu-ray yet.

Re: Fantastic 4 on Fantastic Ch4 HD

Can't wait for more and more free HD content from the BBC/C4 etc so I can tell SKY where to ram it.

F4 looked superb.

It's down to a decent amp, the best priced amp with HDMI and DTS-HD and True HD sound is the Onkyo TX-SR605E, a bargin amp at £399. Got voted one of the best amps.
