The Sound of Silence

Sometimes when I watch BBC HD there is no sound. It comes back eventually and does not happen on any other channel. Anyone else experienced this problem?

Re: The Sound of Silence

Not a problem I have ever had, or even read about on this forum before.

Generally the more information you can provide the better on this forum.

How is the sound connected - cable / kit etc.?

Re: The Sound of Silence

Sound is via HDMI cable from Panasonic LZD800 tv to Sony 5400es HD receiver and 5.1. surround sound. I turned on BBC HD channel when I got in from work last night picture only. Went back in to watch LIFE at 9pm picture and sound ok.

Re: The Sound of Silence

Have you tried connecting the cable direct from the Sky box to the TV and see if you get sound then?
