Re: England match on ITVHD

One of these days they will do an HD football broadcast with no break ups. Don't know when, but im sure they'll do it. Sadly im watching on free view and substandard SD quality.

Re: England match on ITVHD

Yeah had it freeze into a blocky mess a couple of times on freesat, had to exit and press red again to clear it.

Re: England match on ITVHD

Thought PQ was excellent, apart from the breakups

Re: England match on ITVHD

SD was shocking as ever, it's not just the PQ it's their camera work and editing as well, even when I get the new EPG, and even if it didn't breakup I would still rather watch it on Sky.

Re: England match on ITVHD

Had the break ups and also didn't think the PQ was that good, ok but not as good as Sky.

If the do gooders get their way all major sport will be back on free to air soon and then we will be really stuffed for quality.

Can't agree with you on the PQ, I thought it was just as good as Sky's but do agree with you about sport coming back to terrestrial especially after the Beeb's shoddy treatment of FA Cup football a couple of seasons ago and their Championship football so far this season.

Going back to SD, or broadcasters who have HD but can't be bothered to use it, would be a huge backward step.

I think we'd all agree that Sky have taken football coverage/presentation to "the next level". If only they would gag Andy Gray
