For anyone interested the new seasons of both start on Thursday. I cant wait to see how Bones starts after seeing how it ended last season

Both shows are most welcome but it's almost too much of a good thing with new shows and returning shows as the broadcasters suddenly reduce US/UK gaps to days or a couple of weeks at most.

The regular and not so regular characters all revolve around a club (owned by Booth and Bones) where a murder has taken place but no one is playing their usual roles. The final scene has Bones writing the story and Booth waking up from his operation/coma and saying he had a strange dream (meaning either one or both could have been the source of the story) and then he turns to Bones and says "who are you?".

Ah yes. Recall now - odd ending to the series.

The episode before with Stewie should have been the finale. Absolutly hilarious

I watched S5E1 of bones on Friday afternoon, but already forgot something.

How did the psychic know about the bodies under the fountain? Was she really a psychic?

Ive just rewatched the last 5 minutes and they dont seem to explore it, she just leaves saying it all works out in the end.

I know it isn't real but in real life they would definitely want to know how she knew about the bodies.

Perhaps in post they realised they had forgotten to resolve it themselves and just sort of edited it out of the way hoping people wouldn't notice.

Anyway, it was a good first episode and far better than that god awful London one last series.

I thought the last series of Bones was dire and gave up halfway through, thankfully missing the dream episode as an accidental bonus.

I gave the new series a try and it was better, but there was a definite attempt to blind the viewer with science and they're still too wrapped up in the love angle and trying to make Emily Deschanel look gorgeous in every scene (such is life when an actress becomes producer).

Terrible continuity though. Bones badly stabbed in one scene, up and about in the next and then moments later, the wound had miraculously disappeared.

I preferred the London start to the previous series over this one.

They need to stop focusing on the scully and mulder style yes/no love thing and get back to some decent storyline.

To be honest, I'm going to watch the next few, but I fear the magic of bones is over

Thankyfully, House MD kicked bawtocks in the opening episodes of the new series.....w00t
