NFL in HD on Sky

Next week's NFL Sunday on Sky is HD!

Announced by Kevin Cadle during last night's programme. Tennessee at Jets and Miami at San Diego. CBS coverage of both. Sky Sports 3 but Sky Sports HD2.

Great news.

Re: NFL in HD on Sky

Sky Sports 3, but HD 2? Seems a bit backwards from sky lol. Why not just SS2 and HD 2? or 3 and HD3 lol.

Re: NFL in HD on Sky

Sky Sports web site suggests next Sunday in SD for Baltimore at New England (CBS) and Dallas at Denver (FOX) but back in HD the following week for Cincinnati at Baltimore (CBS) and Atlanta at San Francisco (FOX).

Re: NFL in HD on Sky

I see Sky have now updated their NFL listings to the end of the regular season showing all three Thanksgiving games in HD plus Thu, Fri and Sat games added although not shown as HD yet. That might change. Tomorrow's games only SD again but next week back to HD for the Wembley game and Atlanta at Dallas to follow.

I should say Sundays are still TBC save for this week and next.

Will now be interesting to see whether ESPN / ESPN HD does a deal for Monday Night Football from 9 Nov to the end of the regular season. That is the first Monday there is no baseball and ESPNA already showing NHL on Mon 9 Nov so it is possible. Whether ESPN want to show just 7 NFL games is the question when currently they have no other coverage. Still fingers crossed.

Re: NFL in HD on Sky

Sky NFL pages now showing this Sunday's games as being in HD (as does epg and programme mags) - Cincinnati at Pittsburgh and Dallas at Green Bay.

Also shows all other Sunday games up to the end of December as being in HD (except 13th and 20th Dec).

All Thu, Fri and Sat games shown as HD.

Progress.

Re: NFL in HD on Sky

Anyone know whether there is a weekly highlights program in HD on Sky Sports for the NFL?
