Re: Jurassic park scifihd now

I watched this on DVD the other night then saw it was on SCI FI.
The picture was better than the DVD but not the sound as no DD.

Also some of the words were cut out like when they say SOB.

Must be the same version ITV2 show with a lot of cuts.
Would be better on DVD.

Re: Jurassic park scifihd now

I looked at it for 30 seconds. It wasn't in widescreen and it didn't look HD to me either.
And it had the stupid scifi hd logo on it as well. Why on earth would I want to watch that ?

It's in widescreen on my recording, and it has the same amount of detail that the French HD broadcast had.
It's an old master not the one struck for the new blu-ray

Sure you don't have your tv set to zoom 4:3 broadcasts ? It was definitely not widescreen when I watched it but perhaps they are showing 4:3 and 16:9 versions on different days.

Re: Jurassic park scifihd now

I saw this the other day and It looked like a decent upscaled DVD.

Nothing special. It was widescreen for me though.

Re: Jurassic park scifihd now

Like I said it's an old transfer of an old master most likely 1080i.
But it blows away the DVD for detail.
