An interesting poll for sure


While the event has zero interest to me I am sure if there was money to be made a distributor would have already secured the rights and had it on sale, it really has to be timely to maximise the promotion overspill of the event itself.

I voted "yes", not because I'd actually buy a copy (although admittedly, and just between us friends, I am a little bit in love with Yohanna) but because there's no reason why something that's produced in HD shouldn't be released on disc in HD.

It's unlikely to happen though, because the song contest has been broadcast in HD for a few years now and there's no sign of Blu-Rays of any of those past events.

Maybe it's currently unlikely this year (maybe 2010 might be the year when they might) because they (the EBU/the company making their discs) probably think there's not enough people interested in a Blu-ray version right now. If they see that enough people are interested maybe they will release it/them on Blu-ray.
