Re: Selling hd dvds advice (loads rare)

I see you've got around 90 discs and mostly US titles, so I'd say £250-300 in one bundle or £4-5 each.

I'm not an expert, though (just a guess).

Remember that selling them individually will mean loads of separate trips to the post office.

Re: Selling hd dvds advice (loads rare)

I was wondering - why £7-8 for Out of Sight when it's £3 on the HMV site?

Re: Selling hd dvds advice (loads rare)

it was a cut and paste mistake probably as I was paraphrasing

those are only rough prices off the top of my head. The OP may get less/more on any of those titles.

Remember, quite a few of us HD DVD owners here paid alot more for titles than they are going for on HMV/A N Other sites in the times before HD DVD became a defunct product

The OP won't really know until he actually decides to sell

Wouldn't the postage work out the same if he sold them all in one bundle?

I know - I guess if he sold as a bundle, total postage would be somewhat cheaper.

Re: Selling hd dvds advice (loads rare)

I have just purchased them off my cousin in the canada whos been collecting them for a while he has moved to bluray so i am gettin them shipped to me or i may even collect as going soon for wedding. I will keep the wifes suitcase empty hey.

I own a small number of them already although i want to get rid of my larger uk cases and have the slimmer us counterparts plus a few freinds want some out of them so i didnt know really whats fare.

The other option is to bundle all the discs with my xe1 and sell them as a package and move to blu ray, although there is only one decent profile 2.0 player at the moment in my opinion so maybe i will wait.

Thanks guys

yes but what HD DVD owner doesn't already own half of those discs? You would need someone new to the format, maybe bundled with player that's possible, but anyone on the HD classifieds must already own some discs.
