new guy here needing your help. I seem to have the age old problem of my HD-EP10 not playing DVDs. I was watching a film and it just froze. After i while i got the message "The disc is not DVD format. Cannot play disc." Now it won't play any DVDs but it will play CDs and HD HVDs. Having looked round this forum i notice a lot of people talking about making the player region free. Can anyone tell me if this is a cure for my problem and if so, can you tell me how i go about fixing it. Just for information, when i initialise the player and check the update, it tells me i have 4.0/T23M. I take it thats my current firmware version. Any help will be very gratefully received.

My EP-10 (MR) seems to have the same problem. It's not done it before, and the disc (Dr. Who Series 4 R1) plays fine in my other multi-region DVD player.
Does anyone have any idea what might be the cause, or a cure?
