Hi all,

I was wondering which is meant to be the best HD-DVD player (US or EU) that can:
- output 1080p
- internal decoding of all HD audio formats and output as PCM through HDMI

Also, how do the US/EU players inter-relate with each other ?
For example, is an XA2 the equivalent of the XE1 ?

XA2 IS the equivalent of XE1 and these, I believe, are the top models for HD DVD players.

Yes for XE1, almost definite for XA2!

Only for Dolby TrueHD, not DTS-HD which is bitstream only.
