Hi People...

I have 2 of these players and both have Firmware 1.1.

Now I've just had a error code : 408bc00d when i tried to play II Trovatore Giuseppe Verdi

Does this mean that my players both need a Firmware update? Or is this error code coming up because the HD DVD is faulty? Its 2nd hand and bought from Ebay!

What is the latest Firmware and how do i get it?

I have tried doing it the way it says in the manual via the ethernet cable but i just cant get that to work?

Does anyone have the latest Firmware on a dvd or something i can just put in to the players and it will install it automatically?

Your help will be most appreciated!!!

Just to let everyone know i hit the web and found the firmware update for the ep-30 4.0

all loaded from a iso disc fine!! thanks

what software did you use to create an osi file?

Just for info you can still get firmware 4.0 by using an ethernet cable and going to update in the EP-30 menu. I did it yesterday and it worked fine. Took about 30 minutes in total
