Thanks,Excellent review. This tv is awesome. The lt-46ds9 and lt-42ds9 are possibly the two best lcd’s i have seen. I’m well impressed and im a plasma junkie.

I'm thinking about getting this set but was just wondering how it will handle ps3 games like COD4 with smearing etc?

You will probably notice some smearing on dark objects. That goes for just about any LCD TV.

Thanks for the detailed review! May I ask what the measured black levels were? The Toshiba ZF's apparently turn out a respectable 0.06 cd/m2 and the Panasonic PX/PZ series are at 0.05 cd/m2 so it would be interesting to see how this JVC compares.
