The LG manages a performance that is certainly higher than its price tag and has features we would love to see on other screens out there. Sadly the black level is not quite good enough to make this a complete success, but for the money we would be surprised if you could get a 50 inch plasma that comes close in all the other areas of performance.

How annoying is the buzz/noise of this plasma ? I'm quite sensitive in regard to any noise sound so I'd rather not to spend 1k on this TV to find out I hate it.

I've tried to hear it on display model in currys but it was too loud in the shop for me to pick up anything. I'm worried that it might be well heard in my quite room white watching it during the night, what you guys think ?

i was going to buy this tv and read somewhere of some buzing or humming noise, will let u know if i find the page where i read it!
