LG 42PQ6000 Plasma HDTV Review

Reviewed by David Mackenzie
Of course, LG's own display is not without its merits. The amount of control the company gives users is, as usual, a huge bonus.

Re: LG 42PQ6000 Plasma HDTV Review

I mentioned about the resolution piece in this review in the 42pq6000 official thread and why this was not talked about when reviewing the Panasonic 42x10. Monarch08 indicated that this was due to 2 separate reviewers, Phil reviewed the Panasonic.

I think the reviews are very thorough and certainly look at getting the most out of the TV's when you do your testing/reviewing, but an interesting aspect would be a direct side by side comparison of the 2 TV's in question (in this instance)

I think a single reviewer looking at competing TV's from separate manufacturers would provide a nice balance to the reviews, rather than each review being a separate entity. Anecdotals about differing performance are somewhat helpful, but can be subjective due to the TV not being "in the room".

Other than that, thanks for a great review.
