Hard Drive Keeps Disappearing?!?!

Sometimes randomly my computer will lose my HD and then sometimes It will be like "Device Recovered"...

I think i may need to update the drivers on my system, so i tried "DriverAgent.com" and they told me:

Good Drivers (62%)
Bad Drivers (38%)

GOOD - Your computer has the latest driver for this device, no updates are necessary.

BAD - DriverAgent has a newer or better driver for this device.

But then when i got to update, It says i need to be a member...to download free drivers !!!

Anyone have any suggestions?

Hard drives shouldn't need drivers. Unless it's a SATA one and even then i've never needed drivers for one.

Have you tried running a diagnostic tool on the HDD to see if it's faulty?

Yea I;ve done that and its all 100% fine..

IS there any sites that'll scan my computer for old drivers and update them..

you don't need drivers for Hard Disks

Had a similar problem with my current PC, except it was the hard drive and DVD ROM that would randomly disappear, turned out to be loose SATA cable connection at the motherboard. Worth a try.
