ODST Firefight - Top Scores

Just because I'm still on a high after getting Endure I thought I would start a thread to post your high scores on Firefight.

After the achievement popped up, V1P3R got too excited thinking about having sex with Recon on that he stopped trying

but I reckon we could have gone on another few rounds and hit at least the 2m barrier

Anyway, post your top scores with link to game stats and let's see who can get the best score on each map

Map : Lost Platoon

Great idea for a thread Gray, and last night was just awesome fun. You're absolutely right, I stopped playing once Vidmaster had popped, as it was waaaaaaaaaay past my bed time............I seriously think we could have played for another couple of hours.......I'll never get tired of hearing Sordid say "Wraith down"

Cheers mate - here's what we did

Lost Platoon. Someone takes sole responsbility for getting Laser and using it only on Wraiths as soon as they land ("Wraith Down!" - Sordid

)

2 on the warthog and the other 2 on choppers. Just drive round splattering the **** out of anything that gets in the way.

That was out first attempt and we did it but I wouldn't say it was easy. A couple of times we had zero lives left and I think in 1 wave down to 2 people left alive at the end. Took over 2 hours

Learn how the bonus round works too - I'm still not really sure, we ****ed most of them up.

I think you get more lives added depending on how many you kill. Presumably if you kill them all you get a ton of lives although I've only taken about 3/4 out before so I don't know yet.

I've been stuck

That game was a blast, we could've kept going for ages if we'd nailed the bonus rounds! It was tense when we lost all of our lives on the very last round of Wave 4 Set 3 and those strange noises starting coming through Viper's microphone

Annual next EEC?

If you complete a bonus round you get bonus lives which I think was 3.

Managed to get one bonus round done but failed the rest.

Did firefight on Lost Platoon with myself, manowar68, JPG30 and wolverine66666......got to set 5 and called it a night...414,895 on easy.

me, wolverine, mumbo, and manowar got over the 200,000 we ended the game as time was getting on, we had about 15 lives left and could have gone on for ages, got to set 5 and called it a night, we got a shed load of badges too.

I was gutted when you got the plasma gun overcharge a vehicle and kill the driver quickly cheevo, I overcharged the chopper and you shot the driver!

I reckon we should try same map on heroic some time, get the cheevo for passing the 4th set.

Got 421,000 on Normal difficulty Security Zone with my two cousins earlier.

We still had 7 lives left when we called it a day and most of them were lost either by my younger cousin who hadn't played ODST yet and was convinced he could take everyone on his own or by anyone who tried to save him after he charged downhill on his own trying to melee his health back

I've got to admit I had a great game with 278,000 of the points myself and a KD of 54:1 without using a vehicle. 192 headshots from 199 pistol kills and 2 Invincibles as well

. I probably sound like a right boasting **** but I think I earned it

Timeout! Good scores here but I don't want to hear all this "I had xxxxx points with y lives left" nonsense.

That's not the point! You need to finish it! The difficulty ramps up quickly in round 3 and 4. 7 lives can become 0 very quickly!

I'm well up for doing more of these and aiming for a huge score

619,000 on Heroic, Alpha Site. We made it all the way to the very last wave of Set 4

So close!

Out of interest, did anyone else read the b.net update this week? Unless I'm going mad and misunderstood, the top worldwide score on Legendary is over 7,000,000 and was a SOLO run on Lost Platoon.

The problem is the length of time it takes to get these high scores. Even if you haven't been playing before you start the Firefight match, 2 hours of constant play is a lot. I've always been on the single player for an hour or two before I start Firefight so it really adds up and when your eyes are bloodshot it is best to have a break...for at least 15 mins per hour of play

The scores that I see on the Update are
Easy: 2,151,957
Normal: 4,205,459
Heroic: 4,752,115
Legendary: 1,622,294
Although it does say "By the way, that Legendary high score is from a solo run. Total Chopper abuse going down. Covenant deserve each and every splatter they get though."

Obviously no-one is even trying Legendary if the best score was solo but well played to whoever set it!

I know - it does take a long time. My post was tongue in cheek

I can imagine solo on Lost Platoon being ok. Just go ape with the choppers. Give it 6 months and there will be some crazy scores being posted.

Remember when people started doing Halo 3 Mythic runs (all skulls on , solo legendary campaign). I think even now there is only like 12 people in the world to complete the whole game on Mythic.

sorry mate, didn't know there was a cheevo for it, i just shot the guy on the chopper as normal, we can always reverse the idea next time.

im happy to have a go at heroic to if im not playing odst with the 4MC.

6 hours of Firefight would be a bit much for me (never mind getting 10 million!) I admire your patience more than anything

yeah but apparently there is a glitch where you can sit in the corner with a chopper and hold RT or something like that. Bungie didn't acknowledge the 10m score.

Ah didn't realise that, pretty cheap if that's the case. 10 million must've taken ages aswell
