I was watching my son play ODST and I asked him if he had tried the Reach Beta yet?

Obviously I'm clued up enough to know that he got it but not that it isn't available to Spring 2010.

Thought this was quite a clever business move because it effectively limits the resale of ODST for upto 6 months meaning that they will sell more copies.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not moaning, just thought it was a clever idea from a business point of view.

Yes indeed but not as clever as putting the Halo 3 beta on Crackdown

I didn't even realise ODST was out yet, I thought it went sale tomorrow.

Oh and yes not a bad idea. Marketing has been massive, the mention of a beta game not so much.
