graphics card that outputs hdmi help please

Hi,

In short i have a fairly old computer with a brand new tv as a monitor. I like watching hd films etc from the computer and as such want to connect the computer to my tv via hdmi.

I have tried a dvi to hdmi adapter but it didnt work so my question is: can you suggest a graphics card for me to buy that will let me just use a hdmi cable to connect to my tv?

I watch both 720p and 1080p so the card will need to be good enough for both.

My pc spec is (from memory):

intel pentium d dual core 3.2Ghz
asus p5nd2-sli deluxe mobo
2Gb corsair ram

all help gratefully received, thanks
Chris
