Which TFT?
Hi Guys
I'm looking at buying a 22 inche TFT monitor (primarily for playing games via my xbox 360). I'll be using an xbox vga cable to connect the 2.
With my budget of £160 I have narrowed it down to the 3 following monitors.
1) Acer P223W 22" CrystalBrite
2) XEROX XM7-22W
3) LG L225WS-SF
I can get all three of these monitors within my budget and would appreciate any feedback on what you think would be the best choice (all 3 have similar specs, 5ms Response Time etc) so I'm a bit unsure. Also any alternative choices I may have missed would be appreciated.
Cheers

Re: Which TFT?
Thanks for the replies guys, the samsung looks interesting as well but is down on contradst ratio compared to the acer and LG (1000:1 compared to 2500:1 and 3000:1). Looks like the Acer and LG, just cant make my mind up....

Unfortunately, the industry is playing with you a little.
There are two different types of CR measurement - ANSI Contrast and Full on/off.
There are several articles online which go into more detail than I could in this post, so I'll throw you a couple of links and let you research it further at your leisure.

Hope it helps.

Re: Which TFT?
Thanks a lot for those articles mate, not only have I been educated but am also a little confused now on which screen to go for, some say the LGs have the best screens while others swear by viewsonic and samsung only, then there's the small matter of the acer which from what I've heard is also good. hmmm - dilema, no doubt they will all do the job but how well is so hard to tell

Re: Which TFT?
I might be remembering wrongly but out of those choices, I think Samsung are the only ones that actually manufacture the panels themselves.
That said, last time I specced a 22" for someone, I advised stretching the budget to snag a Samsung 226BW and they weren't disappointed.
