I take it by free run people mean offline TT? If so how do you change your settings as on my game it says quick tune cannot be used in these races?

If its somewhere else I cant find it, maybe I need an update?

You only get full custom setting with either online races or in single player campaign mode?

Arcade mode doesn't allow for full custom setups, just RTA (Real time adjustment)this allows for changing things like traction control, 4 wheel drive balance (where applic.) and brake balance only.

You cant tune the cars in the (arcade) time trial just your driving options so all cars are the same.

In the online option as if you were going to join a race on line you have the option there to tune your cars and there is a free run option on there to test your tuned settings.
The time trial is in arcade mode (no quick tune option) but your best times are posted automatically online in the time trial section.

Re: what do you use to tweak settings? free-run, where?

Damn. Thats why I couldnt find it, currently only have 3 mobile broadband usb, cant get this connected to my PS3 so no way of getting into free run. Bit annoying as the only other way to test settings is to do an arcade single race with other cars on the track and no way of saving your ghost.

Oh well.. will have to wait until I get my sky bb installed
