Re: accelorator - x button or analogue stick with pad?

LOL I have toyed with the idea of getting one, not sure if I would get my money's worth though as I had a force feedback one for my ps2 to use with gt3 and hardly used it.

I appreciate the G25 would more than likely blow this out the water but its quite a big investment which I cant get at the time being as Ive just shelled out £££ for a new TV (due to arrive next week )

I do love Gran Turismo but find I havent got the patience some have for spending time tweaking settings etc, not that I can find where you can do this (as in how to save ghost, tweak and test)

Just not sure I would use it much, well £160s worth..

I used the pad all the time, buttons and directional pad, (henced my nickname).

Got the driving force gt a few weeks back, cant fault it, well worth 70-80 pounds

You can even map the accelerator to the shoulder buttons and if you get a hold of some of those giotek triggers, it works really quite well.

Although I'm happy with my G25 now and actually find it harder ( in terms of placement and gear shifting) when using a pad.

I always use the analouge stick because it allows greater control & also holding X constantly hurts my finger after a while
