Re: GT-DC: GT5p Bon Voyage TT

Think this will probably be the last stand for GT5p so I'll try and PM as many of the old members as possible.

Looks like people don't really like playing in the summer and then all the talk will be about GT5 hopfuly after E3 so this will probably be the last chance we have to TT together in a large group!

It will be good to get the rivalry and banter going again
Come on lads, lets send GT5p of with a bang, I'm sure we all want to see a new begging.

Obviously I know the times and the track but I wont test until everybody knows those details.

I have 2 in my head also, although not quite the fastest combo as in lowest combined time they certainly look the easiest to drive on paper.

I might go with the easier cars and push them to the max rather than a slightly faster combo and struggle with the handaling, as we know it doesn't always click when you need it to.

IMO the fastest time combo is the hardest to drive, so we'll see!

I've just worked out the exact time diff going by the LB and between all combo's it's 0.203 I think, so dependent on how you handle your car choice it should be close?

The two I have my eye on add up to 0.057 slower than the fastest combo but may be easier to drive, the only thing is if those cars can be pushed as much as others and if I like the feel of them.

Re: GT-DC: GT5p Bon Voyage TT

Thanks Dave, I've sent a few PM's out as well to see if a few more can join.

Any ideas anyone if anything needs changing, obviously this has been worked out on one track so if the track is changed the car combos won't be equal.

I'll try and work out a few more and add them if their in the same time frame, this gives your more car choice.

So far all the combo's add up to from fastest to slowest on paper 0.200 diff.
0.200 seams a lot but some people will get faster times with a slower combo on paper and a easier car set than if they used a more difficult set of cars.

I'll try and think of some more ideas, probably give out all details on Monday and then let people test for a week and try and get others to join and then maybe start next weekend.

Not Fuji I know Chowy prefers the shorter tracks for TT'ing

Peeps have surely got to choose their cars before Chowy annouces the track?

Good luck with those, guess you're hoping for a long flowing track like fuji or Suzuka then?

Re: GT-DC: GT5p Bon Voyage TT

Had a look at other cars, only thing is too long tracks and the times are all different so there not close enough and too small a track and all the times that are close are the same car type.

So if it was eiger all the same FR cars or all the AWD cars finish close so there is no mix.

Not sure if people will like the track but it matches times well with different car types and that is what should make it even so I think we should leave it.

I should of hid the OLD cars in hindsight, and old showed your pick when it started.

I can tell you the track or leave it until after the pick but I'm sure people can work out what one it is from the leader boards.

Right all done

I hope this is OK for every one?

Have a good read and everything should be clear, I have done 3 NEW lucky dip cars that if you buy you also get a OLD lucky dip car to match.

So do you feel lucky?

All combos are approx 0.200 time diff going by the top times, but each player will handle each combo different so good luck!

Hope this is ok, running out of ideas so sorry if car or track is not your preferred choice it should be close.

Over to you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
