100% Save Download problem

I have had GT5P for some time and fancied being able to get the cars I could not get (F1 2007 etc). I have got the game save on a usb stick put it in the PS3 and it shows up on the save game utility part. However when I went to the game itself, it has over ridden all of my hard work and put me back to the very beginning

Please tell me I have not lost all of my file saves and still dont have the 2007 F1 car etc, is there a way to sort this out....please? I can post the file save here as a zip file if it would help?

I think it might be because the game save was for a different version of GT5P (e.g. the Store download or another region). If that's the case you'd have to get the right game version to play it.

Oh.. and I think you should've posted this in the 'Gran Turismo PS3' sub-forum!

I think it might be because the game save was for a different version of GT5P (e.g. the Store download or another region). If that's the case you'd have to get the right game version to play it.

Thanks for the reply, but the game save is for the same version of the game as I have ie both have the same reference on the the bottom of the spine of the game?

What version of the game have you got? Blu-ray or PSN?

Just make sure you've downloaded the updates to Spec III first.
