Could someone send me a paint chip? I've had a level 24 ticket stuck in my inbox for ages!! Can't receive it, so hopefully if I receive something else it will sort the glitch out.

Thanks in advance!

P.S A horn will suffice too!!

Agreed mate, fantastic nights racing. Hopefully first of many more to come, personally I've really missed our race nights and the banter that goes with it!

I've had a long enough break from it, looking forward to some more regular meets.

I've got one of these infernal tickets too. Bloody thing will not go away!

Anyway, thanks for the racing tonight chaps. Three excellent races in the SuperGT cars, and well done Wiz for a shock, but well deserved win at Spa. Sorry if I caught anyone in the opening melee at Spa.....various cars were bouncing off walls/one another and it was all a bit of a mess. I thought Dazza was sponsored by Qualcast as he was mowing the grass along the straight after Eau rouge.

I'm not sure what to make of the shuffle races. Nice idea I guess, but I got saddled with a couple of bags of poo.

Yeah, shuffle races are a great idea, just a pity there are no extra options to fine tune the criteria.

Race of the night for me was Fuji, fantastic clean, close racing.

Can't beat the Super GT cars, perfect mix of power and drivability.

Great stuff tonight guys

I think the shuffles races are the same idea as those seasonal events ages ago, remember the one with the Aston that nearly got lapped every race? Couple of Turkeys in there alright. If we can all come up with a car to race and 4-5 tracks then that should sort us out for a few weeks of racing.

Exactly my thoughts. I'm watching the Fuji race now and it's a fantastic replay. I'm just gutted about fluffing the last corner. I know I go on about Spa but I really think Fuji is a class circuit.

As you said, the SuperGT's are great all-rounders - fun and challenging if you push them hard, but perfectly drivable when kept within the limits.

The Super GT night I discussed with you is most definitely on!

Andy and me must have changed lead about 20 times in that race, epic stuff. He was probably just messing around again though the little toerag

Last night was my first foray into the world of cockpit view on GT5. It's the way to play it if you ask me. The Super GTs feel so immersive in that view, sat low down with some of the all-round vision obscured.

I had to switch back to bumper cam for the standard cars though. That black cardboard cut-out cockpit......cannot stand it.

Really J? I thought you had made the switch prior, did you make the jump in Forza?

Totally agree though, the cockpit cam is the only way (for me) to play. It would be handy to be able to look left and right to check the mirros though. Can you do this with the little analogue stick on the CSR mate?

Yeah, given that I've barely raced GT5 online in six months it was the first time I've used it properly. Having said that I have experimented with cockpit view in the past, and had a good offline session with it before last night.

It was the tail end of Forza 3 when I started using cockpit view full time. I think your recommendation plus my time with Shift 2 got me into it.

The CSR has a thumbstick which can be used to look left, right and behind in the same way you can with the DFGT, which is very helpful. Works a treat. I guess the Fanatec picked up my old settings as I've not manually assigned any buttons on my new wheel. The face buttons also operate the lights but I couldn't get the wipers to work.

Hmmm, that stick would be handy. My navigation button is at the centre bottom of the wheel so not very easy to find in the heat of a race.

I wonder if I could re-assign the L/R buttons on the left of the wheel?

Well you can reassign all the buttons so I'd imagine that's fine. Seeing as Fanatecs are not officially supported I guess it's trial and error.
