WheelStandPro/G25 owners.. How have you mounted your shifter?

My WSP has just arrived and I note that the shifter plate can be mounted in 4 positions.

Since the plate has a 'dog leg' in it, the shifter can therefore be mounted in the higher or lower position.. And of course you can do this on the left or right side of the wheel.

Since we are in the UK, I would say that its a given that you mount it to the LEFT side.. But what about the height? The instructions show the plate mounted so that its in the 'high' position.. But I would have thought that it would make sense to be lower...

Whats your choice?

Jon

Actually.. This turns out to be a bit of a silly question...

The dog leg on the shifter plate is deeper than I thought.. So its a lot lower than I anticipated.. Because of this, it would be almost impossible to turn it up the other way and make HIGHER as it would get in the way of the steering..

So I think it has to be lower.. In my case, this means that I hit my knee on it, so its going to take a bit of getting used too.

The wheel stand is brilliant, and im tall (6'2"ish) and i managed to get a setup which is near perfect with no Knee hitting at all.. U will too. What a cracking bit of kit.
